Schubas Recap

Last night's show went very well. Thanks to all who came out. It was the first performance as a trio and probably one of the biggest shows I have played yet. Greg Laswell, Brandon Walters, and Jenny Owen Youngs were great live and really nice. Definitely check out their music if you have yet to do so. It was also pretty cool that everyone from Ingrid Michaelson's band showed up, minus Ingrid, after their show at Park West. I briefly chatted with Allie Moss. Anyway, here is a video that I took of Greg since I didn't record any of my set. I swear the last three shows I've played at Schubas, I always bring a camera, but forget to give it to someone to take video/pictures. Oh well.

Song #34, "Do You Know Me", is now available over on my music blog: Count Me Out. Check it out here, however it is also available on this site, under the "releases" section. This tune was originally jammed out with some friends back in the spring. I had always wanted to get around to recording my own version of it. Finally the day has arrived, however I have added this to the June [EP] since I have no songs for that month. Two more tunes are planned for that EP and a third will come around sometime as well. Be on the look out for those in the next few weeks.


Song #35, "It Is What It Is", was also recorded tonight and is now available. Check it out here, however it is also available on this site, under the "releases" section. This one was put together tonight, starting with the guitar riff and the rest just fell into place. Enjoy.

Just a little more info. I realize that I recorded/posted Song #32 only one day prior, but it was meant to count for last week. I originally based Tuesday's as my day of the week to work on this project, but it doesn't always turn out that way. Since today, technically yesterday now, was the last Tuesday of the month, hence 5 songs for this month. As you may know I still a few weeks behind, but do plan to check up soon. Hopefully even before I get started on October.
